Get to Know Justin Bignell
Born in Columbus, Nebraska, Justin has spent most of his life in Fremont. After graduating from Archbishop Bergan Catholic High School in 2001, Justin enlisted in the United States Army. Serving in the 75th Fires Brigade out of Fort Sill, Oklahoma, he was honorably discharged at the rank of Sergeant after combat deployments in Iraq and the Horn of Africa.
Justin went on to earn his Bachelor's of Science in Political Science from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2012 and earned his Juris Doctor from Washburn University in 2015. While in law school, Justin worked as a law clerk for the State of Kansas Public Employee Retirement System and served as President of the Washburn University Federalist Society.
After law school, Justin worked as an Authorized Attorney representing the State of Nebraska in the prosecution of delinquent child support and in the establishment and modification of child and medical support orders.
Justin currently serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association Chapter 16-3.
